The course will cover the following:

Arabic Reading Fundamentals:

  • Alphabet and pronunciation

  • Short and long vowels

  • Consonant sounds and combinations

  • Diacritics and their rules

  • Common linguistic patterns

Tajweed Rules:

  • Rules of Noon Saakin and Tanween

  • Rules of Meem Saakin.

  • Doubled Meem and Noon Rule.

  • Rules of Mad (elongated sounds)

  • Rules of Qalqalah (vibrating sounds)

  • Rules of Tafkheem and Tarqeeq (emphasis and relaxation)

Insha’Allah by the end of the course, you'll have a solid foundation in Arabic reading and Tajweed, enabling you to read the Quran accurately.

This course will equip you with the essential skills to begin your Quranic recitation journey. However, it’s important to note that regular practice is indispensable for mastery. Dedicate time to consistent practice to truly excel.

Who’s the instructor?

I'm Dua Ashraf, a Quran and Arabic language instructor. I have a deep passion for teaching the Quran and Arabic language, and Alhumdulilah I've spent over five years cultivating these skills and values ​​in my students.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Islamic and Arabic Studies from Al-Azhar University, with a specialization in Quranic Interpretation and Sciences. I'm also certified to recite the Quran with the Asim recitation style (Ijazat Asim).

I believe that learning should be both enjoyable and effective. That's why I strive to simplify complex concepts and present them in an engaging way that resonates with each student.

Beyond my teaching experience, I'm committed to lifelong learning. I'm currently studying psychology and education to enhance my ability to connect with students and meet their unique learning needs.

I'm excited to contribute to the development of a generation that is knowledgeable about Islamic values ​​and the Arabic language.
